So, all of you have probably read the newest page by now and you're probably wondering: What comes next? Where is this going?
Well, I'm here to give you a sneak peek in a way.
You see, the comic is based up of multiple parts and multiple characters, each with their own story and part to play in the grand scheme of things, and it reads in chapters so to speak. Right now we're in Chapter One. It's lengthy I know and probably comfusing at best, but I want you to understand each character before they enter the game. I want you to get to know them, to love them, to hate certain ones of them. I want you to feel some kind of emotion when you read these pages. Please be patient with me. I'm planning big things and I want you all to be excited for them.
Marisol and Alarik's story is just beginning. They have a long way to come for it to be complete. There are still more people involved. There are still things that no one other than Ruyn knows, things I, as the author, don't even know. I think the great Stan Lee thought along similar lines when he wrote comics. You don't know what's going to happen until you're drawing it. You don't know what the characters are going to do until they've done it and it's on the page. I mean, there's an outline, but it doesn't make sense until you see it there for yourself. Remember, this story was first an rp with a friend, then it was a book idea...now it's so much more than that. It's becoming something I'm gonna be proud of. It's becoming something I want to keep doing.
I hope you all enjoy it. I hope you like Marisol and Alarik. I hope you see some part of yourselves in the pages to come...and I hope you understand why I've done the things I've done.
